Pavilion Rentals

Reservations are taken for all covered picnic areas and some uncovered areas at City Parks.  To reserve an area visit Leisure Services in person at our office located in Centennial Plaza, 15 E. Thurman Ave., Suite A (7:30 am-5:30 pm) or REGISTER ONLINE.  You may call the office at (559) 791-7695 to check availability prior to coming down.  Reservations may be made up to one year in advance.  Early reservation is advised.

Reservations are on a first come, first served basis, and MUST BE made 48 hours in advance.  Reservations with alcohol and/or amplified music permits require 5 business days notice.

Summer park hours 10am-10pm
Winter hours 10am-4pm

Centennial Park

This relatively new park includes a gazebo.  Home of "Music on Main."

Dog Park
2701 W. Scranton Ave.
(Located in the Porterville Sports Complex)

Fallen Heroes Park
356 E. Chase Ave
(Southwest of Plano Street Bridge)

This picturesque park includes a sports field that can accommodate either soccer, softball or flag football, two play equipment areas to entertain different ages of children, a fitness walking trail, a half court basketball court, splash pad*, two covered pavilions and more.


Open weekends through September 6, 2021, 3:30- 5:30 PM and during periods of excessive heat.

Lions Mini Park
Between E & F Streets on West Orange.

Creative children's play equipment and sandbox. Entire area is fenced.

Murry Park
500 E. Putnam

This 20-acre community park includes family picnic areas, pavilions, barbecue pits, sinks, tables and benches, 9-hole disc golf course, fishing pond and street, two children's play areas and restrooms.

North Park
765 N. Main St.

Small park contains statue dedicated to the farmer.

OHV Park
West & Scranton, 2701 W. Scranton Ave.

Like to ride dirt bikes or quads and have no place to kick up some dirt? This is the place for you. Come on down with your wheels so you can show your stuff.

Provides a safe and convenient opportunity to walk, jog or bike.  Amenities: trees, benches, lighted crosswalks with audible warnings, asphalt paving and a drinking fountain.

Tule River Parkway -
Indiana & Parkway Drive

Features a 2.2 mile walking and bike riding trail and Park & Ride Lot at Jaye Street.

Veterans Park
Henderson & Newcomb Streets, 1501 W. Henderson Ave.

Park includes 3 pavilions, children's playground and restrooms.

Skate Park
In Veterans Park, 1501 W. Henderson Ave.

15,000 square foot concrete skate park.  Features: - 6' Half Pipe - 9' combi bowl - 2 sets of 4 Stair with handrail - 8 stair with handrail - 8 stair with Hubba ledge - manual pad - step up.   Amenities: drinking fountain - spectator seating.

Zalud Park
700 N. El Granito

15 acre site with rose garden.
Park includes:  children's play area, 2 softball diamonds, 2 lighted tennis courts, pickleball courts (call for info:  559-782-7539), roller hockey / basketball / volleyball area, disc golf, grassy play area and restrooms.
