Library Board of Trustees

The Library Board serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council.  It consists of five regular members.  Public meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month September-May at 4:30p.m. in the Library.

Parks & Leisure Commission

The Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council.  It consists of eight regular members.  Public meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 5:30p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.

Porterville Youth Commission

The Porterville Youth Commission (PYC) was established in August 2008. PYC is made up of Student Body Presidents or a designated representative from the Student Council of the local high schools.  The 2008-'09 PYC worked diligently on youth entertainment functions for Porterville, listening to and addressing youth issues, and presenting those issues to the City Council.
