DOWNTOWN VISION

Looking forward to the construction of the South Justice Center, a team of stakeholders have been working to develop a new vision for Historic Downtown Porterville. The Historic Downtown is the area defined between Morton Avenue and Orange Avenue and Plano Street to the Santa Fe rail corridor. This area is called the Heart of Porterville and is the cultural and government center of the City.

The new vision includes construction of improvements along the pedestrian corridors and recruiting new businesses to the downtown that will complement existing business, as well as bringing new, needed services to the area.
