How can I be notified about job openings within the City?
If you know which positions you are interested in and want to notified when the position becomes available, you can submit a Request for Job Announcement, also commonly referred to as an"interest card". Where can I obtain a typing certificate when required for a position?
Typing certificates must be obtained from an accredited college, trade school, or professional temporary job placement agency and be validated within the last six (6) months. The test must be proctored, and the certificate must contain your net words per minute. Please note that typing certificates obtained online are not accepted.
What are your office's hours of operation?
City Hall is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
